Install in three steps

A direct Android download. No account needed.

  1. Download the APK on your phone. Wi-Fi is useful for this download: it includes the complete offline content.
  2. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps, then tap Install.
  3. Open Japanese Journey. Choose a scene and start listening. Allow microphone access when you want to record yourself.
Updating an existing installation

Install a newer release over the existing app to retain your progress. If Android reports a conflicting package, keep your installed app and contact the maintainer before uninstalling it: uninstalling removes local progress.

Release details and checksum

This is an early release, tested on a Samsung Galaxy A15. Annotations and recordings have automated review; qualified human review is still pending. Speech recognition agreement is a content check, not a pronunciation score.
